Had recently taken the control unit two local electronic shop and had solder joints repair other than the digital display missing some of the elements the system would work function properly but recently when I hit the button to raise or lower the air the relays are clicking but the compressor is not turning on I took a quick measurement with the voltage meter and it seems like I'm only getting 6 volts at the compressor any thoughts

I know your feeling, I have an 89 that I am selling for pretty much the same resson. I even put heel toe shifter with floor boatds, I find myself struggling to use the breake and shift. I need an 2nd gen where the contols are more forward. It wss explained to me that our bikes our set up like an eastrem saddle verse 2nd gen being an westren saddle set up legs more forward vs bent 90% as ours

Cranking but no start

No not a dumb question, well here is a dumb question where is the shut off, I know there is petcock below the tank on my othe other bike but I do not recall 1 on here, besides it was running a week or so ago and I didn't shut nothing off -
My bike seem to not want to star, was running great 3 weeks ago, then the battery died, now charged battery fuel pump clicks and cranks but no start. 1 thing I noticed was the lack of fuel in the little filter next the pump. any thought on this

Fuel pump question
Mcolabella replied to Mcolabella's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I know that I use to hear the clicking, of the fuel pump. I do hear a relay click from under the seat -
I am having trouble starting my 89, I don't hear the fuel pump at all and I use to hear it when I turned the key on, it turning over fine

Do you have any pics of the kuryakn that you have -
I was able to finally get to take the new to 89 out, and I know I am out shape but wow really uncomfortable, i am use to my Harley the controls were more forward then the 89, I even have the floor boards and heel toe shift and talk about a real act to get my feet on the pedals so too speak. so I slide up on the passenger seat and what a difference. so am I the only 1, I did find a link to Rick Butler seat guy but is this really going to help
