Thanks for the replies -- Now tying to figure out which conversion kit works best for the rear running / brake / turn lights. Looking through the posts now to see if anyone has positive or negative suggestions. Joel

Recently purchased my first Yamaha and need advice on a few enhancements: - Backfiring when throttle down - Carbs recently rebuilt, 3 tanks Premium gas with cleaner, still does it - is this normal? - Gas tank - Literature says 6 gal, bone dry fill up is 4.5, am I mistaken? - Ergonomics - Little cramped for my 6'2" 250 lb frame, like to lengthen the gear shift and rear brake pedal, possibly move the seat back, ideas? - Windshield - Accustom to running KlockWerks Flare, is a similar windshield available? - Carb Synchronizer - Maybe Morgan CarbTune -- Is this recommended for this bike? - Tires - Will need new tires within 1,500 miles, suggestions? - Syn Oil - Always used in my other bikes, any reason not to for the Venture? FYI... I average 15,000 miles annual, about 50% 2 up with gear, hope to get 100k + miles on this bike without major rebuild Thanks in advance, Joel
