RAECOREP

Hello everyone, I purchased a used set of rotor covers on line. I believe they are from an 84'. Will MKI rotor covers fit 90' MKII? I have slipped them in postion but cannot figure out the little lip/flange under the caliper. The axle bolt slipped right in and It looks like The little lip on cover could be removed if not really needed. Also, I read in an older thread that a spacer needs to be cut down to allow for thickness of covers to get calipers to line up correctly, if this is true do I account for both covers? Any close up pics and experience would really help! Thanks! Robin, "RAECOREP"

Thanks guys, I did buy some but was too big. I'll have to try a smaller diameter.

Has anyone put wider than stock tires on Gen 1? Not taller, just a little wider. both front and back.

Hello, New to VR.Org. Hope I put this in right place, Has anyone found a good replacement for the seal around the trunk lid on 1st gen VR's? I put in 3/8" foam cord from local building supply and it worked great for about a day. All rattling went away and no more rubbing of lid and trunk. Now it is completely compressed in groove, allowing them to rub again. I can't find any dealers on line that carry it. All say "not available". Any suggestions?
