So I have given up on the huge, ugly air box on my 98 RSTD!

I have ordered pods.

I will restrict the air flow for what's left of this season, which likely means increasing the fuel flow as well, but enough, is enough!

I will rejet the carbs over winter to match the pods and get the carbs synced.

Now the next step, relocate or bypass the ignition switch. I'm sick and tired of the bike quitting when the switch gets heated.

I love this bike, but Yamaha really screwed the pooch on some of the designs on this generation. 

I have already relocated the fuel filter. 

Good thing I'm retired and have the time to do this shite! 

I'll let yall know how the pod things goes.
