Lately there has been a few mentions of the Shotgun Method of carb cleaning. While looking through my bookmarks (yeah Puc, more bookmarks) I ran across this link.

Thank you for posting this. It gave me hope of getting my Vmax going again. It's been sitting for a couple of years now and at first I couldn't get it to take the gas. Well, now it will but only with the choke on. I even tried the peashooter method. I quess next is pulling the carbs and cleaning all the jets. Oh well, I gotta replace the front valve cover gasket anyway. I did the valves a couple of years ago but apparently didn't get it on right. I have a leak in the middle behind the water line going to the head. Thanks again for the post.
