3767 km's of awesome!

That's over 2200 miles to my American friends. That was my round trip mileage going out to Venture West. I met up with Doug Ivey in BC, and we headed for The Dalles together. What an awesome experience. This was some of the most beautiful scenery I could image. On our way south, the area in and around Soap Lake, Washington, as well as highway 12 going from Mount St. Helens to Yakima slowly heading home were absolutely gorgeous. These are the times when I wish I had an on board video camera to log the views.

I stayed at Doug's house on my way out and coming back, and what a great host he was. Thanks, Doug.

We really enjoyed our time with the crew that showed up in The Dalles, even though someone who shall remain nameless, rode in on a new Harley! (Nice bike, Vic).

It was nice to put faces to some of the names I've seen on this forum, like Lone Eagle, Condor, Kevin-Vic-bc, CM Coffee, Mabeline, and the legends Cowpuc and Tippy. I even got a hug from Tippy, who was as sweet as they come.

Thanks, everyone, for making my 2014 vacation so very memorable.
