I'd like to wish all my friends from the United States a safe and respectful Memorial day. As you pause to remember those who have fallen in service please spare a moment of respect for those who have served and who do serve, and then thank God that your country, like mine, remains the kind of place that inspires young men and women to choose to serve.

 

I have stood beside some of your soldiers in Afghanistan, and I could clearly see the pride and determination they carry.
