Once I got home from my 4-day 1700 mile ride I tried to straighten out the

side louvers that had gone haywire. The more I fiddled, the worse they got.

 

Just like with the fender mascot that fell off somewhere in Virginia, I went on line

and tried to find replacements ......... no luck !

 

So, I just took them off, and as was the case with the mascot, I actually like the

bike better with them off than on. I'm just hoping the heat is not too severe.

I'm not sure they REALLY blocked the heat anyway.

 

Great weekends ...

 

Here's the bike now. I guess I shouldn't complain, It's given me almost zero problems

over the 21 years I've owned it.
