Offense and defense started sluggish, but developed a rhythm quickly into the first quarter. They got one safety on us, because they punted the ball to the 2 yard line, Jamar (QB) tried to get the ball out of the end zone, but didn't have enough time. We kept putting the points on the board though. The Maulers talk a lot of trash despite losing their first game 70-6, and losing to us 59-2.

My mother and stepfather rode their Harley's out from Michigan to watch the game and hang out. We had a good time riding up and down the Mississippi shoreline. My venture didn't get too many miles though. All of our babysitters were out of town. It wasn't a total bust, we got a 91 Sunbird Convertible, and got to cruise along with my parents with the top down.
