midnightrider54 Posted September 17, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2008 My current rear tire is a Dunlop 190/60R/17. This size is only made by Dunlop and Bridgestone. Avon makes a 180/60R/17. How much differents is there between a 190/60R/17 tire and a 180/60R/17 tire? From looking at a tire chart. The 190 and the 180 is the section width in mm. So one is 10 mm wider then the other? hig4s Posted September 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2008 It will be about .3 of and inch narrower and .6 of and inch shorter.. But the only Avon I see in that size is a sport bike tire.
