It is surprising that it did not matter where you came from, born in NYC moved to long Island in 1959 and the world was at your finger tips. Built the carts, broke my butt, you forgot the first Sting Ray bike with a banana seat and wheelies. My first car was a 1951 Chevy that I got from a old lady that lost her eye sight cut her grass for it and a buddy and I pushed it home. Never got it to run but man what a 8 track and reverb, painted it with house paint and paint brush. If you got in trouble in school they would paddle us and your mother would tan your butt when you got home. How many rookie Micky Mantle baseball cards did we put on bike forks to make it sound cool ! I am afraid that we gave them what we did not have and the result is not as good as we had hope for. They can say what they want about the old days, but the proof is in the pudding. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR
