I know that this has been brought up before and I wanted to share with ya'll what I just found. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-51I56E4bKZj/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=51000&I=105CSBB2 dimensions: 11-5/8"W x 2-1/2"H x 7-7/8"D It'd fit, I think, in a saddlebag, maybe in the trunk... would definately take up a bit of room, though... It comes with a wired volume control. Getting it to fit somewhere probably isn't much of a problem, but supplying it with enough amps to drive it might..... GeorgeS Posted April 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted April 26, 2007 Yes , you can do that. Also, the amp is never drawing full power except when music is hitting high volume peaks. The average power draw, is probably only about 20 percent of the full amplifer wattage rateing. sho_greg Posted June 21, 2016 Share #13 Posted June 21, 2016 I got the sub installed a few weeks ago- cant really hear it... but the good thing is it has a remote control for the volume so I can turn it down and up... Really have to open the trunk to hear it. But when the trunk is open it has a great sound. The unit in the link above was the one I installed- has a 2 channel amp that can power a set of speakers- so I used that on my fronts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh well....this has been kicked around here for years and I've still never seen a great solution for improving the sound on these bikes. We use earbuds and that works great for us.
