Same question for the needle shims 1/2 step adjustments this seems like a lot of of and off with the carbs. is there any way to see the directions before you buy? saddlebum Posted January 12, 2023 Share #2 Posted January 12, 2023 To change the main jets you do need to remove the carb set and separate the cabs. To shim the needles you need only to remove the diaphragm and sliders which can be done without removing the carbs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
