Marcarl Posted December 9, 2022 Share #3 Posted December 9, 2022 Most use a MC jack from HF maybe, but you will need to adapt to the bike. Could use hockey pucks or 4" pieces of 2x4. Once you have it up, throw a strap across it. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RDawson Posted December 9, 2022 Share #4 Posted December 9, 2022 When I did mine I used a strap to hang the inner fairing from the ceiling instead of a full removal. videoarizona Posted January 13, 2023 Share #18 Posted January 13, 2023 I didn't remove the inner fairing. I removed the outer fairing to get to the bolts that hold the fairing assembly to the fork frame. Once I took off the bar mounts, I was able to gently lift the entire assembly up as you see in my pics. That gave me access to the fork covers and then the forks. I did take off the front wheel and the brake calipers to take the weight off the forks. In reality, it took longer to get the fairing off and out of way than it did to get the forks out.
