Riderduke Posted August 1, 2022 Share #4 Posted August 1, 2022 I looked into them before I decided to purchase a trike... Lots of mixed reviews so I talked with an approved dealer here in VA. They had installed less then 20 of them and about half of the customers brought them back to remove. They seam to work great on flat / even roads. Roads with ruts and uneven pavement seam to make the landing gear go up when you think they will be down to assist you... I never pulled the trigger so I have no experience... This is just what i found out and didn't want to take the chance, with my bad shoulder, trying to keep the bike up if they didn't work... My only issue is if the bike starts to lean left at a stop I cant pull it back to center..
bpate4home Posted August 1, 2022 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2022 These may work at a stop but riding in general? I don't see it ending well.
labill Posted August 15, 2022 Share #6 Posted August 15, 2022 I am looking at them also because of my age. It is my understanding they only function under 6 mph unless you operate them manually. Not for long riding, stopping and starting only. I spoke with one of the reps. Call them they are very helpful labill
