BlueSky Posted April 9, 2022 Share #2 Posted April 9, 2022 That's what they are saying on the Starbike forum, supposedly from a Yamaha source.
N3FOL Posted April 9, 2022 Share #3 Posted April 9, 2022 I hope it is a temporary situation due to supply chain issues that affects the entire industry.
Freebird Posted April 9, 2022 Share #4 Posted April 9, 2022 I haven't heard anything about it but it wouldn't surprise me. I still believe that Yamaha went the wrong direction and the bike just hasn't been a huger seller. They just didn't listen to their core base of riders. Most, I think, wanted a variation of the water cooled Max engine to keep with the tradition of the V4 that the Venture has had from the beginning. Now don't get me wrong, I actually loved the new model. I bought one in, 2018 I think. I had absolutely no issues with it. It had tons of torque and handled like a dream. There was nothing about it that I didn't like. Ended up selling because I just didn't have time to ride. I kept if for a year and sold it with about 1500 miles on it if I remember.
N3FOL Posted April 19, 2022 Share #5 Posted April 19, 2022 I haven't heard anything as well. The design is very new for Yamaha to completely stop production.
