Squidley Posted September 20, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2021 They should fit, I don't believe HD changed much on their big bike mufflers in the last 15 years. I have a set of slash cuts from a 2005 Road King on my RSV. You'll have to get a special clamp that will adapt from the metric pipes to a HD muffler. I know their is some posts about it on the site, You'll just have to do some searching.

djh3 Posted September 23, 2021 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2021 I went cheap and used hose clamps. Aint pretty but worked. Only thing on the HD pipes was there was a couple years there they had a Cat in one side. Somewhere around 2009 ish I think.
Dutch Navigator Posted September 23, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted September 23, 2021 Thanks for mentioning this. I have to check that. These pipes are from 2017. OEM-number says 'no Cat'.
BratmanXj Posted September 24, 2021 Share #7 Posted September 24, 2021 Also there should be drawings on the internet for the fabricated metal brackets to fit HD mounts to the Venture mounts. Some guys have used P-clamps around the saddlebag brackets with good luck too.
videoarizona Posted September 24, 2021 Share #8 Posted September 24, 2021 Someone on this site made brackets. There also was a diagram with info on building your own. I thought I just saw a post recently???? Memory...first thing to go as we age....LOL!
djh3 Posted September 24, 2021 Share #9 Posted September 24, 2021 I just use 3/4" P clamps from home depot and a couple 1/4"x20 bolts in the HD factory bracket. Making those hockey stick bracket was going to be a day project. Once I checked into it the P clamps were easy and cheap.

Brother-in-law works in a machine shop and I'm an engineer with AutoCAD.... gave him a scale drawings and had brackets the next day.
