There wasn't an option to turn off automatic renewals previously but there is now. When you purchase a subscription, the default is for it to automatically renew after a year but now there is a box that you can uncheck to turn off automatic renewal. They are kind of irrelevant for us because they only count what has happened since the new software was installed. I have disabled them now.
