RDawson Posted June 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2021 (edited) West Ky Rally at Kenlake State Park will be held May 19th through the 22nd 2022. We decided to move it up a couple weeks with regard to MD and summer weather. Edited June 27, 2021 by RDawson
RDawson Posted June 25, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted June 25, 2021 I’ll post later with some lodging options. The state park has a lodge, cabins, and campground. There is another campground a mile away along with some fishing cabins and motels in nearby Aurora (4-5 miles). Gas and convenience store 5 miles away and town 15 minutes up the road.

93 venture Posted June 28, 2021 Share #7 Posted June 28, 2021 looks like it has a camp ground, you have to go though reserve America to book a camping spot, i notice a few of the camp spots have already been reserved so the sooner the better on nailing down the dates. uncledj Posted June 29, 2021 Share #8 Posted June 29, 2021 I wonder if we could incorporate some sort of a ride to / thru / along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

The bourbon trail starts about 4 hours east of us, the distilleries I could show you around here don’t care for visitors 😜. Anybody coming in from the east of us can ride right down the trail. RDawson Posted July 16, 2021 Author Share #10 Posted July 16, 2021 A shelter with plenty of parking overlooking KY Lake has been reserved. It has electricity, water, picnic tables fireplace, and yes bathrooms. We’re not planning any long rides but here is where we need opinions: Hannigan’s is a 30 minute ride, we can schedule a visit/tour if there is interest. There is an 1850’s Homeplace farm nearby for anyone not going to Hannigans. There are other sights nearby or forgo any rides other than food runs. Probably a Friday ride to supper/Saturday to breakfast. There is also dining at the park lodge. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/ https://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/seendo/attractions/homeplace/ https://parks.ky.gov/hardin/parks/resort/kenlake-state-resort-park https://www.pattis1880s.com/ (Possible supper option Friday)
