lyleh 11 Posted February 14 Share #1 Posted February 14 When removing the fuel tank from the MC I disconnected the fuel hose from the fuel valve and the brass tube that the hose connects to came out of the fuel valve and remained in the fuel hose. Can I just reinsert the brass tube in the fuel valve, or will that cause the valve to leak gas?
Condor 1,809 Posted February 14 Share #2 Posted February 14 I could be wrong, but I think that's just a press fit. Push it back in and give it a slight tap.
lyleh 11 Posted February 14 Author Share #3 Posted February 14 Thanks, that’s what I’ll do. I’ll keep an eye on it afterwards.
saddlebum 1,644 Posted February 15 Share #4 Posted February 15 (edited) Clean all surfaces with brake clean then coat with a bit of green loctite bearing and bushing retainer prior to pushing it in. Edited February 15 by saddlebum
