Moped Looking for Part of 99 RSV wheel!

In the process of getting our rear wheel balanced for our new tire, the dealer lost the collar ( inner race of the needle bearing) located inside the spline portion of the rear wheel. Would anyone here have that part from a damaged wheel available?

We tried to buy one, and they said they are on back order from Japan for a couple months because of the COVID 19.

We have not been able to ride yet and do not want to wait until September for the part.

Is it by chance a standard bearing that can be sourced locally. If some one knows the size it may be able to get tracked down.

He is on his way out right now to go to the Honda dealership where he had our wheel balanced. He is hoping that they may have it there, but when he called yesterday they did not have a clue what he was talking about.

Moped says it is #5 , but he may have found it at the Honda dealership today. I will let you know if he got the right part. Ron says it was the inner race for the needle bearing.

If you don't find it, let ke know. I have a spare RSV when out ion the barn, I'll check to see if there part is there.

In my experience all you would need is the stamped number on the baring, then give that number to a gear/bearing supply, they will match it up!

Check with Mike Eykamp or Ed Williams. Chances are one of them will have that part.

It's the outer spacer on the hub side.

Let me restate that. It is the inner race on the hub side, it necks down slightly on the end that goes into the bearing.

Thanks to everyone for all the help. Moped went to the Honda dealer and his part was still sitting on the work bench. So we are good.
