ken5124 Posted May 4, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2020 MY 86 Venture radiator fan was coming on at a hot temperature ( stock), which I think at 220 F was too high. I got the Napa part FS-147 and installed on the weekend. Now it comes on a lot earlier.. I like it. Just a note if you do this .. the o ring that comes with the new thermo switch does not work.. It kept squishing out when i tightened. I carefully removed the o rink seal off the old, stock thermo switch and used it and no leaks. Bike, while moving, keeps temp guage at just under 1/3.. prior to this change, stopped in traffic, gauge would climb to just over 2/3 before fan would come on.. Now it engages just over 1/2 FYI ken

ken5124 Posted May 5, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted May 5, 2020 Thats the one. I just cut the wires and spliced them into the stock wires. Ken
