ragtop69gs Posted March 19, 2017 Share #51 Posted March 19, 2017 Along with all that's been said about frame improvements , you'll also need to upgrade all the axle shackles, bolts & bushings to heavier duty units. I haul a lot of boats and the axle shackles are the most often part of the trailers we need to replace. Also, I think if you do some careful measuring of purpose built toy haulers you'll find the axle placement is different than the same unit that's not a toy hauler.
