N3FOL Posted January 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2015 It is windy and feels like 17°F. Snow tomorrow. It will be in the mid 20's for a high for the next 2 or 3 days. This afternoon, I plugged my RSV battery on trickle charge. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/05/72ff461ad8047aba8010ff8e039022f7.jpg

SilvrT Posted January 5, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2015 I bought a battery tender last fall ... used it on my son's bike for a while. Since the move, it's now just sitting on my work bench. Temps went down to around minus 5 (celcius) a few days back and that's the second time since end of Nov but mostly it's been between +5 and +10 around here so don't really feel the need to hook up the battery tender ... never had to before, bike always started. Glad to hear all is well. Keep that battery tender handy just in case you go on a long hiatus of some sort. [emoji41]
