Passing lights

Something you may want to think about is if it's hooked up from the factory, it's not the best configuration. I have always run a dedicated wire through a relay to power the passing lights. There are several threads in the forum on doing this. I do agree with others that a bad ground could be your culprit.

I had the same problem. If the light were not installed properly the wire going to the bulb socket can get pinchd and eventually breeak. On my other sidr, the ground wire inside the light housing seperated. I had to resolder it to the housing. Be careful you don't get the housing too hot because I think it could blue up the chrome.

Inside the light, if its a h-3 halogen bulb there is a ground wire that screws to the housing back. Mine does not allways make a good contact, and last time I had it appart I had to add a washer to make it get good contact.
