A cell phone question for you techies

I am in need of a bit of information on my cell phone. After I performed a master reset of it to clear all of Lonna's information off, I find that I can't log on the internet through my data. I went to the AT&T store and they stated that I need to have it "Flashed"

I read up a bit online and am thinking of doing it myself as everyone wants atleast $50 to do it. Can any of you in the know help me out with any pertinent info on what to do or look for when I attempt this....do appreciate it.

To "FLASH" your cell phone is a simple procedure. Proceed as follows:

1) Place cell phone upright on coffee table.

2) Place yourself directly in front of cell phone facing AWAY from phone.

3) Remove ALL clothing and grab your ankles while at the same time shout loudly "FLASH-FLASH".
