It just can't be comfortable to have your arms up at, or over your eye level! Nevermind loss of control etc. oops....did I say that in my outside voice? I just could not imagine how much more difficult it would be than it already is to maneuver these things around at low speeds with ape hangers. I like the look and find them ok to ride with. not good in a head wind though. arms get sore after a few miles trying to hold yourself up. No laws here in UK about max bar height. I angled them back so there is more pullback than rise which works better for me. There are bars available with whatever rise you might want. reddevilmedic Posted September 2, 2013 Share #17 Posted September 2, 2013 I rode to key west from Michigan, and back a few months ago...now, I just did a 2000 mile trip around lake superior...I do tire after about 250 miles with no fairing...but I generally do only 300-350 a day...you should be in good shape.
