I'd use one in the winter.

If they can get the price point down to under $ 15k, I could see them selling well enough to saty in business.

 

I would buy one for my wife. She has a 12 mile commute to work, 24 miles RT, and it would allow her to ride more days of the year, whereas she puts her other bikes to bed in the much wetter seasons.
