I have the gas tank off, and I understand its on the right side of the bike near he neck. do I have to remove the other plastic plate, wrapped around the ignition? bongobobny Posted October 15, 2012 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2012 I have a second gen frame with attached wiring harness seting in my shed, and I can see the ground strap and it looks like it would bolt on somewhere under the plastic wiring cover. 4 phillips screws get it off, but pay attention to where each screw goes as there is 2 lengths...
