af226 Posted October 1, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2012 Just replaced the pads on the rear of my 85 and now the rear wheel needs alot of convincing to turn. I had to clamp the caliper to get it back on the wheel. Put it all back togeather easily enough. Will it wear down and let loose after a long ride? It is very important the thick washer is in correct position, or the brake arm will be out of alignment and bind up. This write up is for an RSV, but the 85 is same in regards to washer position. adventurer 08 Posted October 7, 2012 Share #8 Posted October 7, 2012 I'm glad to see this post because i just had the same problem when i pulled my rear tire off but i just put washers between the caliper and its mount and it worked out ok.
