Bubber Posted September 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2012 I was looking for someone that has the radio controller on the handlebars for a 2nd Gen. Mine seems to acting up and not all the script shows on the screen so I just want to see if the controller is at fault or the nut behind the wheel. uechi kid Posted September 10, 2012 Share #3 Posted September 10, 2012 I guess I should ask the obvious, did you check and clean all of the connectors inside of the fairing. How about splitting the controller open and looking for some dampness, or possibly a broken wire. Does it (screen) come on at all or certian patter on when it craps out? bongobobny Posted September 11, 2012 Share #8 Posted September 11, 2012 Yah Steve, spray the crap out of the connectors with contact cleaner and reseat them a few times then treat with dielectric grease. A little goes a long way and it is to seal the overall connector from moisture. Grease itself is NOT a conductor... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
