I tried a set of Harley racks, 4 rails wide with 4 feet. Did not fit as good a I would like. A bit too wide. I saw a set of racks on an RSV in Sturgis. They were 3 rails wide and had only 3 feet. They looked good, provided good coverage and still allowed room to work your key in the lock. I believe he told me they actually were Kawasaki Vulcan racks? I hope this helps.
