There should be a bar coming out of the rack that holds the trunk. I don't believe there is a mounting plate on the left side. On the 1st gens the CB antenna is used for both CB and for Radio. dacheedah Posted August 17, 2012 Share #4 Posted August 17, 2012 Unless they did a mod it should combine the antennas, I took the combiner off of my 89 and added an am/fm and it made a difference in my fm reception and I believe improved the CB also.
