Some specs here.

Torque, 7.8 N*m (Newton meters) = 5.8 Foot-pounds @ 6000 rpms

7.6Ps = 7.6 Horsepower @ 7500 rpms

123Kg = 271 pounds

I wonder what kind of mileage it gets.

Looks alright and it would be nice around town.

I wonder how much it would cost if they were brought to the US.

I bought a scooter with a bigger engine, disc brakes, automatic transmission, and plenty of underseat storage for $600. It gets about 60 mpg, goes about 60 mph, and costs just $35 a year for insurance.

Cheap bikes can be bought here too.

But the fact is, we Americans dont want disposable 110cc bikes with drum brakes, a 'long seat' and a 4 speed transmission.

So we dont get them.

They sell very cheap cars in India too. Made by Tata. Cheap labor and no safety standards.

IIRC Tata now owns Jaguar.........

Litigation and product liability defense are among the largest costs associated with Motorcycle ( and other recreational products UTV, ATV, PWC, etc) sales in the USA. They exceed the actual manufacturing cost of the product and effect the end cost of the product substantially.
