Patrolman46 and Babe asked us to attend a 3 day biker event in a nearby town. Took the car down and back on Friday night, but met them in Alliance NE yesterday morning on the bike. while we were waiting for them to arrive, a nice couple from Tulsa OK approached us. They introduced themselves and the husband mentioned how nice my 05 TD and Harley trunk looked. He mentioned they previously owned a 06 RSTD but just traded it for a 2010 Ultra. He quickly noticed a few of the usual modifications. He was not aware of the VR site. They were trailer their new bike to the Black hills and asked for lodging suggestions. We suggested they stay at the Chief Motel in Custer and besure to locate the Purple Pie Place!!! When Patrolman46 and Babe arrived they thought this new couple and us had been friends for years!!!! Donnie took a picture of Dan's 2000MM and sent it to a friend. We crossed paths with Donnie and Holly again in Chadron before we turned and headed west. New friends are a blessing!!!
