who lives close to me that has the gage and the knowledge to use it? I've had my bike for two years and have never had it done. of course it runs like a raped ape i think it's time to do it. I'm off on Tue and wed and can make the drive if it's fairly close. i know 1rooster has one but seems like we did he's a couple of years ago at the Lexington BBQ and i don't think he can set them but i could be wrong. thanks P.S. i live in black mountain,NC.

I don't have a gage but I will be in your area Tuesday night/Wednesday morning was planning on doing an overnight in Spartanburg but can come over your way instead, just have to tell me a good place for us to stay. If I can find someone in the lowcountry that will let me use their gage I could do it.

thanks kic but two things,i don't trust the mail and I'm afraid if it's been used on a first gen it might be to fast for my second gen. lol thanks for the offer but i can get one just 30 minutes away, now all i need is for someone to show up that knows what their doing.:bluesbrother:

That's OK. I understand not wanting a 2nd Gen to even remotely "taste" a 1st Gen. It would then develop a personality conflict of wanting to be a 1st Gen, but looking like and running slow like a 2nd Gen.

Last thing we need is a slow, confused, cross-dressing 2nd Gen. It might wind up looking, and running, like a Hardly... :shock3:
