djh3 Posted May 30, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 30, 2012 Yea that. Its a heck of a lot easier to do the first time around. Some good suggestions on how to do it were in another thread. One had a way to do it with a quasa sort of warning light for when it was off. Also some ways to make it "automatic". Those were way over my head. Well Dang-it I cant find the thread now. djh3 Posted May 31, 2012 Share #7 Posted May 31, 2012 You don't HAVE to run a on off switch. But what we are saying is it will help save wear and tear on the ballest. There is a protective circuit but into the unit that when it has low volts turns off the light. So when you hit the starter you get this low voltage to light.
