Dan, How far are you and Mark planning on ride with escort? I hope to be able to go up north and meet up.:)

I'm planning on riding to the Comfort suites in Denver if they run on schedule. I'm leaving from Brush the next morning @ 5AM with a cousin heading to Graham, TX for a small family reunion. If they run late I will probably drop out of "Escort" at Ft Morgan. I don't like to ride in the dark because of the deer. All of the farmers are discing up the corn stalks, so the deer are really on the move. Don't want to have a "Dano" meeting with a deer.

Wish I was going out that way....My Dad and Mike's grandfather were both WW2 vets. Would be an awesome way to honor them. Yeah Yeah....I can see the questions now...How could my Dad be a WW2 vet...easy. I was the pleasant surprise he had when he thought he was too old for kids and was settling into the idea of being a grandpa lol.

Thanks to Patrolman46 for making this event known to the rest of us. RogerII and his wonderful wife road two hours out of their way so they could ride along with us. The Nebraska PGR group escorted 10 WWII vets. Awesome site. Great attendance!!!!!:)

My father in law went on the Honor Flight about 3 years ago, and to see the look on all of the WW II vetrans when they returned home was amazing. It's a long day for them (remember they're in their middle to late 80's) but I'm sure that every one of them was happy they went.
