skydoc_17 Posted August 27, 2011 Share #2 Posted August 27, 2011 Hey Steve, For some reason, that right vent must have an "ejection seat" attached to it because I have seen 50 of those puppies fly off of First Gens. over the years. I will check my parts bikes to see if I have a right one left. If you do find another one, put a small dab of super glue on the tabs, or you will be posting this again in a few months. Snaggletooth Posted August 27, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 27, 2011 That was the first and only part I ever lost on my bike. Spent the first winter working on it after buying it as a non runner. It was late at night the first time I got her fired up and took off for a quick test ride. When I got back to the garage I saw the hole in the dash. When I got another one I built the tabs up a bit with epoxy and then a little sealant as insurance. Stll there after about 4 years. Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
