search for Hippo Hands.

There is a possibility that at highway speeds, the wind may push back your Hippo Hands enough to press the brake and/or the clutch levers. You should be aware of this when you install any kind of muffs on your bike

This possibility varies from bike to bike and from rider to rider, depending on aerodynamics, wind screen size and design, etc, etc. We are not in a position to predict whether this will or not happen in your particular case.

if this does happen, there's a very simple answer; please go to "HH Brackets" .

I ran into Jerry Zimmerman yesterday at a Wreaths across America ride - and he has these HippoHands on this Venture - loves them.

I sent in an e-mail last night to the mfg. to see if they would work on the Flanders Bars - will see what their response is. Couple of things come to my mind - restriction of movement - Jerry didn't seem to have a problem with them - and he had "summer" gloves on while ride in low 30 degree weather. The other thing I'm not real "keen" on - though they are only $65.00 - if they don't fit the bars - or didn't work - not being able to return them.

I had a pair of the national's on mine. You will have to grind the bottom 1/3 off of the shield or it will hit the tank when you turn all the way. They did cut out a lot of the wind on my hands. The plexiglas cracked on 1 and I never replace it yet so I removed them. I want to a pair of heavy Yamaha gloves and a heated vest and that seemed to be enough.

Just scroll down a little in the link till you find hand deflecters.

I don't see that they're made specifically for the RSV.

I used "Hippo Hands" on my 1977 GoldWing for years and loved them. I was running a "Vetter" fairing. As yet have not tried to put them on our RSV. There might be too many controls to our gadgets in the way on this bike. Don't know yet.

I had hippo hands on my 83 till I missplaced them. They worked great and the guy who sells them told me that even though he did not make them for my bike he would send me a set for a 1800 wing and if they did not work he would send me something else. They did fit even with the 86 radio controller and the home made cup holder (just couldnt use it).One thing I did do was to put skirts on them so that the wind was blocked out around the cables I could ride bare handed at 20 degrees.I jsut wish I could find them now.
