Yammer Dan Posted July 27, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 27, 2011 While riding some twisties today I went into a right hand turn when I noticed a groundhog in the ditch ahead of me. Watching him I almost ended up in ditch with him!! I know better than that!!! Look where you want to go. Not in the ditch!!! Stupid trick!!! Kicked up a little dust. Hope a rock hit that sucker in the head!! I think he was waving at me!!

ragtop69gs Posted July 27, 2011 Share #5 Posted July 27, 2011 The last groundhog I saw while riding, got thumped with both tires. The little sucker jumped up and ran away!

saddlebum Posted July 28, 2011 Share #10 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) Dan you don't strike me as someone who learns from their mistakes so here is something for the next time you mess up. Cooked Ground Hog 1 carrot sliced 2 onions 2 pataoes sliced 1 tsp garlic 1 Ground hog water Clean ground hog by removing insides Make fire outside and scorch hair from ground hog With sharp knife scrape all scorched hair off. Wash and clean ground hog with cold water Put in large pot with all remaining ingredients Broil until meat is tender Dispose of vegetables Refridgerate meat until the next day when it will be best for eating NOTE! it can be reheated Edited July 28, 2011 by saddlebum
steamer Posted July 28, 2011 Share #11 Posted July 28, 2011 for a couple of years, while on our way to town, we would see a wood chuck on a noll on state park land, that would stand there for hours watching the vehicles go by. I swear sometimes it looked like he was doing the Cady Shack dance.

Yammer Dan Posted July 29, 2011 Author Share #15 Posted July 29, 2011 If you had been riding a 2nd gen the clutch whine would have scared him away. :rotfl: Thats why I usually let Skid lead when we ride. And he seems to know where he is going. I usually don't have a clue. End up in places I didn't know were there.
