janjan22 Posted April 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2011 My husband was installing a replacement 'shock linkage"? (to raise the rear a little) today. When he removed the bottom bolt and the back tire was lowered (its on a stand), some fluid drained out of the shock absorber. He said it was half a shot glass full. Seaking Posted April 4, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 4, 2011 Over extension of the shock, just by simply doing a normal maintenance on the bike could have been enough to pooch the shock.. go figure eh? I put a new one the bike and within a couple of month it lost it's oil also.. what a waste.. So I installed a Works! shock and wow, what a huge difference..
