Well, it is supposed to be running on all 4 at idle if that is what you are eluding to. How did you determine this?? Cold pipes on the left side, hot pipes on the right?? Pulled wires one at a time and the wires on the right side made a difference and the ones on the left did not???

OK there are some smaller diaphragms in the choke circuit for each cover that may cause that same problem. Are you familiar with the carb syncing procedure for thesae bikes yet? You need 4 vacuum gauges to do this, and each screw is for a particular adjustment, i.e. balance between pairs, and balance with each pair. Do a search or check the tech section of this site for further info...

 

 

I am assuming you have changed the plugs already, and hopefully ran a half can of more of seafoam thru your carbs already

Also, are you sure you have spark to the #1 and #2 cylinders?? Does the tach work? If it doesw not then you probably not getting spark to either plug as the tach uses the spark command from #2 cylinder. You may have a bad pickup coil or a bad TCI or corroded connections somewhere between the pickup coil and the TCI...
