Welded a huge Iron bumper on the front of my 4WD pickup when I lived in the heart of the largest deer herd in the U.S. I used to zoom down the roads at dawn/dusk [worked night shift], but never even came close to hitting a deer for years. I wanted some venison for my freezer. Had a big doe hit me once, though. But she slowed enough & didn't even damage the cloth/plastic door on my old CJ-5 Jeep. Don't know if I was Lucky or unLucky.
