bj66 Posted October 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 19, 2010 Right now in South Dakota harvest is going on strong. Today a friend of mine working at a local grain elevator and had an accident. Somehow he got trapped inside a grain bin full of corn. I heard he fell inside. Luckily 2 other workers were with him and held on to his arms, keeping his head just above the grain. But the pressure of the grain against his body almost suffocated him anyway. The rescue workers got into the bin and got oxygen to him and after an hour finally got him out of the bin. I know he is bruised and beat from the grain against his body, but there is a father who is going to be able to go home to his wife and 2 young sons tonight or tomorrow depending on the hospital. If a man had 9 lives like a cat Chad used 8 of them today. It doesnt happen very often when a person becomes trapped in a grain bin that they come out alive.
