Speedometer calibration

I have discovered that my speedometer is off. Someone told me that by changing the rear tire size this will help fix this. Does anyone know if this is true or even possible?

Yes, changing the rear tire would fix the speedometer but there's not many options that will fit the RSV/RSTD so you're stuck with using a SpeedoHealer to fix it. Mine was around 8% off if I remember correctly.

Same story here, approximately 8% on speed, but only 1-2% on the odometer... A SpeedoHealer will correct the speedo, but the odometer will be off... Sometimes you can't win...

Yes, speedometer eror is a known Venture anomoly and even pertains ti 1st Gen's as well! They read high, and 8% sounds about right...
