New Chrome

Sleeperhawk

Recommended Posts

$80.00 for the set including postage. Please allow 30 days delivery. I'm at the chrome shop's mercy plus they screwed up George's parts the first time around and I had to buy new parts and machine a new base. They paid for the parts, but not my labor.

Wondering about the price? Here's a breakdown for you. $10.00 parts, $40.00 chrome, $5.00 postage, $25.00 to drill/tap the base fitting and gas/driving to chrome shop & back (2 trips - 90 miles total).

I wish I could do it cheaper. .... Ponch

Hey George,

I just finished cleaning mine (now that I have my garage back), and I found lots of shiny chrome I didn't know I had..(or forgot it was chrome from all the dirt).

You might want to start thinking about upping the anny on your accessory insurance coverage with all that chrome.

(I am buying stock in bike cleaning supplies).:rasberry:

Alternative: Swagelok part # SS-200-2-2. Stainless Steel. It's not shiney, but a little time on a buffer and it could be. Prettier than brass (unless you like brass). It retails for about $12.00. If you want me to get it send $15.00.
