The VERY first thing I managed to do was to pick up a sliver of steel so small it took me over a week to find it. Then the only way I managed to see it was to pump the tire up to about 100 psi and the tread opened up enough to expose the culprit right against the tread. I put a plug in it last fall, it sat all winter in the garage and lost nearly one pound of pressure. I've only got a few hundred miles on it so far but I can't see what all the hub-bub is about.
