Well mini, I cannot bear the thought that this is actually a bear hoax thread. Bearing in mind that we are anxiously awaiting this bear photo, perhaps someone could go help him post the supposed bear photo.

I will be posting a photo soon of a snipe that Ron took me to see when we were dating.

Once, when I was driving a bus load of tourists through Yellowstone, we stopped for a bear sighting. One of my passengers wanted to get off and take a picture. I didn't want to let her off, but I warned her that it was really dangerous and that she shouldn't get too close to the bear.

She didn't pay any attention and got really close for her picture! The bear got really pissed and started chasing her....she ran back to the bus, but I shut the door before she got there.

One of the other passengers asked why I didn't let her on the bus.....I said that I wasn't going to let a woman on the bus with a "bear behind"!!!! :rotfl:

I just looked this thread up on snopes. Apparently, this is in fact a hoax thread. The original started in 1997 and was supposedly about a raccoon. This is just a new twist on an old thread hoax.

Are you telling me Yama Mama is not on snopes? I felt she would be in several different commentaries. Or, are you commenting about snipes? Are you suggesting that it wasn't really a snipe, but a raccoon and started in 1997? I can tell you as a country boy, snipes have probably been around since 1897 or earlier.

You need to be a lot more specific in your wild accusations.
