BigBoyinMS Posted October 6, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2008 The wife and I jumped on the Venture after church this morning and left Brandon (MS) and headed up Hwy 25 to Carthage. We stopped for lunch at Wendy's and as we were leaving a fellow pulled up next to me on the twin to my bike, an '07, just to say hi. He was meeting a buddy who was riding an H-D. We left Carthage and headed over to the Natchez Trace and then south toward home. Lot of bikes on the Trace today. Nice, relaxing ride of just over 100 miles. Guess we'll have to do it again next weekend too. May have to check out the Chatauqua Bike Rally in Crystal Springs on Saturday. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
hipshot Posted October 6, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2008 last time i remember being on the trace, left a bad taste in my mouth, and hurt my wallet! lol i believe it was 1978, 2:a.m., or thereabouts, got a ticket doing 65, in a 55. lol when i got to Shannon, miss. i swore i'd never get on the trace again! that was a lot of years ago. i'd probably LOVE to ride it , now! just jt:2143: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
